Hi there, I'm Joey. 👋 When I'm not consulting businesses on explosive growth strategies, I'm acting as the CEO and Founding Attorney of Indie Law.

Indie Law is a trademark law firm, and we've helped our clients file for over 500 trademarks. With the help of our systems and our rockstar team, we're transforming a high volume of entrepreneurs into legally legit brands — so they can all sleep better at night knowing they're not at risk of receiving a cease and desist letter.

We are looking for four undergrads with an entrepreneurial spirit who want to have a life-changing summer that creates endless possibilities for their future. 

And in addition to learning more about the law and entrepreneurship, you'll get access to ALL our processes and strategies.

Yes, you read that right. Our team is an open book, and we want to see you succeed beyond the time you spend with the Indie Law fam.

IMPORTANT DATES:

• Applications are due Friday, April 22, 2022. Note, however, that applications will be reviewed as they are submitted, so we may end the application period early if we find ideal fits quickly.
• Candidates will be notified of our decision by May 13, 2022 at the latest.
• The Summer Internship Program will kick off the week of June 6, 2022 and conclude the week of August, 22, 2022.

Here's What You Get:

• 20 hours or less of work a month — you will rotate through the different departments of our firm so that you can get a holistic view of the firm and discover which parts you enjoy the most

• Super flexible and virtual work environment— so you can do that work where and when you want

• Training in our signature trademark setup and process — so that you'll quickly gain experience and confidence as a legal brand protector

• Access to the inner workings of a thriving law firm — from client management and legal work to marketing and sales calls

• Virtual retreat experiences — to bookend your internship so that you can get to know our team and the other interns, and so that you can clarify your goals during and after this experience

• A mini-mastermind relationship — with the other summer interns

• *** PLUS monthly career & life coaching with Joey — to discuss career planning and personal development (Joey usually charges over $2,000/mo for 1:1 coaching and consulting)

And yes, we'll pay you!

Over the years, several students have reached out offering to be an intern for free. We know this is something lots of students see value in, and at the same time we do want to pay you for your commitment to our mission—and for your commitment to your own growth.

You'll receive $1,000 for working only 20 hours a month for 3 months.
